Role Purpose
The role of a football treasurer is to ensure that the club stays financially sustainable, pay all expenses, and collect any funds owed to the club.
Role Specifics
To ensure the club is financially stable

To develop a Club financial plans

To ensure that invoices are paid and any queries are raised promptly

To manage the club bank account
-
To review player fees and contributions
-
To represent the club at external meetings and events
-
To negotiate with potential sponsors
To ensure the club have a full set of accounts

To maintain the clubs electronic accounts
-
To ensure that all expenditure is receipted

To present the finance position at committee meetings
To ensure that players subs and contributions are paid

To communicate effectively the costs to be players, players parents and potential new players

To ensure that players have paid an annual registration fee

To ensure that players pay monthly subs and where cases of hardship are known negotiate with the parents and committee a payment position
