Role Description
Role Purpose
The Media and communications officer is responsible for raising and maintaining the profile of the club, to encourage new players, coaches and managers to join, and ensuring that all players and parents are aware of club development and activities.
Role Specifics
To ensure the club has a social media footprint

To design and maintain a club website

To maintain relevant club Facebook accounts

To administer the clubs social media footprint to ensure that all entries are in line with the clubs codes of practice
To promote the club

To advertise the club to encourage new players, managers and coach

To promote the club presentation evening to ensure maximum attendance

To arrange for banners and other advertising materials to be supplied
Person Specification - Qualities and Skills Required

Effective communication skills

Have experience of designing and maintaining websites

Be creative and enthusiastic

Experience of providing administration to Facebook accounts
